Curious about film and cameras, Kirsten spent her childhood hiking through the state of Utah using disposable cameras faster than she could get her hands on them. Her parents eventually upgraded her to a point and shoot film camera and she went through even more film as her curiosity grew. In high school she picked up her first film SLR, a Minolta, and spent as much time as she could learning the camera, film developing, and dark room printing.

In college she purchased her first Canon DSLR to capture anything and everything. She has spent the last 15 years honing her skills and learning as much about photography as she can in the fast paced and constantly changing world of imagery. She is a cookie eating, matcha drinking mom of many children, and loves that photography allows her to balance her life with all of the things she most loves.

Whether she is capturing the unique personalities of the people she photographs, or transporting you to the epic beauty of the world around her, she is at home behind her camera. Kirsten would love to hear from you about capturing your special moments, or purchasing landscape prints.
